Joan is responsible for getting mom up each morning and ready for the day, providing any necessary hygiene, and getting her dressed. She assists mom at various times throughout the day and then gets her changed and into bed each evening. In addition, Joan keeps mom’s bedroom neat, does her laundry, and is always willing to sit and visit her when my dad leaves the house to run errands or go to an appointment.

Mom has faced a variety of health issues, and Joan is continually very supportive and conscientious of all necessary treatments for these. Her excellent care has allowed my mom to recover comfortably in her home instead of in the hospital. Joan is a quick learner and follows medical procedures and treatment guidelines very well.

Joan is confident and efficient, yet gentle and kind, and she has developed a good rapport with mom during their time together She is friendly and easy to talk to, and my mom and dad have enjoyed getting to know her, as well. She provides a caring and comfortable environment, and the assurance that mom will be in good hands.
