    The Petitioner – a CTA bus driver – accidentally ran over a pedestrian who fell into the bus path. The pedestrian was seriously injured, yet the Petitioner sustained no physical injuries, but suffered from PTSD. Petitioner was unable to return to work as a driver per his psychologist’s orders. Because of his readily transferrable skills, Petitioner was highly employable so there was no wage loss. GWC lawyer Donn LaHaie was able to settle the case for $125,000.

    A 22 y.o worker that received her income mostly from tips broke her tib/fib in a work place accident. While the insurance company didn’t deny the claim, they did deny the amount of money that our client was making. GWC attorney Corey Goldberg was able to increase her income by more than $500 per week for each week that she was off work. This resulted in this injured worker taking home more approximately $100,000 tax free as a result of her injuries.
